永乐中，有一人居洞庭湖之滨。久而复有两人至，聚居一室，不轻出门户。风月之夕，则棹小舟，操酒榼，泛湖而饮，饮至醉，扣舷而歌，歌竟，相持大恸而归，人莫测也。居人时以钱米周之，或受或否。而一人病革，呼其邻曰：‘吾欲告汝以姓名，恐为女累；不言，女终见疑。奈何？’其人固请，乃曰：‘我建文朝某编修也，幸葬我湖旁某山下。’居人收葬之。其二人后不知所在。（冶城客论）
