The grass seals Confucius’ temple, smoke encases Zheng Zhen’s pavilion. The bones of heroes lie in ruins, and the dreams of prosperity are now a mere memory.

A flock of wild geese crosses the river, and gulls play among the flowers and waters. The flowers have faded, the water flows on endlessly. Where is the person left behind by time? Where does an exhausted traveler stay?
