自笑住山人，行李无赍送。
譬彼初生驹，从不习羁鞚。
孤蓬离本根，大地原空洞。
冷暖只自知，裘葛聊随众。
经年别旧林，日暮思群从。
石田已荒芜，茅屋今谁共。
猿鹤守穷山，宁能免饥冻。
平生学道心，念此得无梦。
何时归去来，鹿门事耕种。

- 石田已荒芜，茅屋今谁共 - My stone fields are now overgrown, who will share my thatched cottage now?
- 猿鹤守穷山，宁能免饥冻 - Monkeys and cranes guard their poor mountain homes, can they avoid hunger and cold?
- 平生学道心，念此得无梦 - All these years I’ve been learning the path of life, this has made me wonder what dreams I would have if I didn’t follow this path.
- 何时归去来，鹿门事耕种 - When can I return back to my former home, the Lumen Gate, and start farming again?
